Vestas to Create 400 Colorado Jobs

Denmark’s Vestas is opening a new plant in Pueblo, Colorado, creating 400 jobs and spending $270 million.Yesterday the company held a career and job fair at the Pueblo Convention Center.
The Vestas Tower Plant will open before the end of the year.
A Colorado State Grant worth $2 million compelled Vestas to come to Pueblo. Vestas has three other wind turbine manufacturing plants in northern Colorado.
The company operates plants in Denmark, Germany, India, Italy, Britain, Spain, Sweden, Norway, Australia, and China, and employs more than 20,000 people globally.
