Coast Professional to Hire 40

Coast Professional is upsizing its West Monroe, Louisiana call center, with 40 new jobs by late Summer.Coast Professional is one of five small companies to be awarded a debt collection contract by the US Department of Education. The company, which already employs about 20 people in Monroe, will also provide loan restructuring services as well as verification services, such as determining whether someone with a loan is physically unable to repay the loan.
Coast already focuses on student loan collections as a subcontractor. The company operates a second office in California and is preparing to open a third location in Genesea, New York.
The new jobs will pay between $9 and $11 an hour, with benefits.
