Verizon is planning to hire 30 additional full-time customer service representatives at its service center in Roanoke, Virginia, to handle sales and customer support functions.

The consumer consultants will work in the company’s call center, handling requests from new and existing customers. This position involves sitting at a computer workstation and using a telephone headset while working with customers who are ordering or changing their services, or who have inquiries about them.

Applicants must also be familiar with computers and be willing to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays. Overtime may be required.

Starting wages range from $469 per week to $1,037 per week, plus benefits and paid training.
