While employers are creating jobs, the jobs that are being created are being created at such a slow and sluggish pace and just simply do not seem to be enough to prevent unemployment numbers from increasing. In fact, it is believed that the unemployment numbers will rise a bit over the next few months since there are not enough jobs being created fast enough to improve the unemployment rate and help a large number of people find work. A study of over 2,000 employers shows that many companies are, in fact, looking to hire individuals to work with the company within the next few months but the pace is still weak.

In a separate survey, which was conducted on hundreds of job agencies, showed that there was some permanent hiring that occurred throughout the prior month but even so, the hiring occurred at such a slow rate, slower than it had been since December, when many people were hired for temporary work. The job market is improving and more employers will be able to increase the workforce, meaning more jobs made available for those who are seeking employment, but things are still moving a little too slow and for those who need employment right now, job creation does not seem to be happening fast enough.

The economy is still dealing with the aftermath of a recession and it is times like these that the people often question if the economy is even in recovery mode. While progress has been made, there are a number of economists that are saying the unemployment numbers are going to rise again. There are some people who beg to differ and are remaining more optimistic about the entire process. In fact, some optimism showed because confidence of employers is increasing in the southern areas and when the confidence of employers improves, they are often willing to add onto their workforce and hire more employees.

Of course, there are legitimate reasons as to why some employers are taking a step back. With the crisis in Europe, some employers are worried about taking that chance and adding on new staff. Unemployment will also likely rise because there are a number of students who have recently graduated from college and will be unemployed until they are able to find work, which is not always easy and does not always happen right away. Overall, some progress has been made within the United State but it simply has not been enough progress to lower unemployment rates as job growth is still quite sluggish and there are not enough jobs being created to make up for all of the individuals who are currently unemployed and looking to find work.
