IBM to Cut 5,000 Jobs

IBM will lay off about 5,000 US employees in a new round of job cuts,The cuts will come from the services division, which includes software developers and data center managers. Workers are being informed this week.
The computer giant is offshoring a large number of jobs to Third World regions like India.
IBM has offered to help some laid-off employees find jobs in other countries where the company has openings, but they would be paid local wages.
