Some 200 workers will lose their jobs when Lee Memorial Hospital in Fulton, New York closes next month.
The Metropolitan Development Association, a Syracuse-based economic development group, has organized a jobs fair this week at the hospital.
The MDA has lined up 30 Central New York hospitals, nursing homes, medical centers and large medical practices to participate in the fair.
The fair started Thursday, and will continue today and Monday through Friday next week.
Lee Memorial will shut down inpatient services on April 10th; and emergency room and outpatient services will cease operations April 26th. The 67-bed facility is being closed as part of a plan to reduce health care costs in the state.
What I liked about the service is that it had such a comprehensive collection of jobs! I was using a number of sites previously and this took up so much time, but in joining EmploymentCrossing, I was able to stop going from site to site and was able to find everything I needed on EmploymentCrossing.
