Fiscal cliff: Years of self-made messes

It’s very much true that the fiscal cliff is a Washington-made mess. If the taxes are being hiked, it can’t be avoided because ‘temporary’ tax cuts and tax ‘fixes’ are on the verge of expiry. As regards Sequester, everyone who has voted or it know it’s going to be damaging. The sequester is nothing but the direct result of Congress wanting to pull itself out of a self-made crisis.
