Civil Rights Complaint Filed by Feds Against NC Sheriff

The Justice Department has filed a civil rights complaint in U.S. District Court against North Carolina sheriff, Terry S. Johnson, who, is suspected of using racial profiling, manufacturing criminal charges, forging criminal records and arresting possibly illegal Latino immigrants, in order to have them deported. Jackson is also being barred from checking jail inmates’ immigration statuses.
