Behind Those Village Voice Layoffs

It’s no surprise that popular journal The Village Voice is contemplating to send home senior writers, including the likes of Michael Musto, veteran gossip columnist, Robert Sietsema, restaurant viewer, and George Jean Nathan Award-winning theater critic Michael Feingold. what’s quite surprising is that this time around there was more resignation than outrage. Still, it hurts to learn that the paper’s total staff strength will be a negative number in the next few months.
