The California Teachers Association reports that by May 15 about 1,300 teachers, librarians, counselors, and other public school employees have received layoff notices. This represents the lowest number of layoffs since the start of the recession in 2008, and is significantly less than the 3,000 preliminary layoff notifications school districts distributed on March 15 to warn teachers that they might be laid off.
What I liked about the service is that it had such a comprehensive collection of jobs! I was using a number of sites previously and this took up so much time, but in joining EmploymentCrossing, I was able to stop going from site to site and was able to find everything I needed on EmploymentCrossing.
