Senate Debating Crop Insurance in Farm Bill

The Senate is all set to debate about the crop insurance in farm bill. In all probability, the bill will see a cut of $2.4 billion annually from farm spending. White house is of the opinion that if this legislation is passed, it would help in boosting the much needed reforms and savings for rural America. A similar proposal was made last year, which was not considered by the House.
