City’s Fire Layoffs – Planned Since December By EmploymentCrossing | Dated: 05-23-2013

The article talks about the layoffs of firemen in the city of Hamilton. Six firemen will be let go on June 6th, a month later than originally planned. The six is also far less than the approved amount of 18. There were 107 people on staff a year ago, which was then cut to 102 after retirements, and will now be down to 96 after the layoffs.
