Utah Lost 33,000 Jobs Since March ‘08

Utah lost 32,800 jobs in the past year, with unemployment up to 5.2%.Seventy-one thousand, seven hundred Utahns (yes, that’s the real word) were unemployed last month, up from 45,800 in March 2008.
Analysts say the state’s unemployment rate may hit around 7% before the situation improves. Then again, only three million people live in Utah.
