Troy Mine Workers Laid Off | TravelingCrossing

Revett Minerals, located in Troy, has announced the layoff of approximately 100 workers. President John Shanahan made the the announcement recently, citing the unexpected discovery of ground fall as the primary reason. Most employees said that although they were saddened by the news, they were not surprised. Shanahan expressed strong gratitude towards the employees, many of whom tried to stay optimistic about their futures in the industry.
