Cedar Rapids, Iowa Library Cuts Staff

Cedar Rapids, Iowa has ankled two full-time and five part-time library employees. The workers include a supervisor and five book-shelvers.

The main library was shuttered in a flood last June — the library has been operating out of a mall since then.

After the flood, some library workers were moved to other libraries or other city departments.
