Washington, DC-based Danaher will slash its workforce by 2,300 and close or consolidate 16 sales and manufacturing facilities.
The cuts come after the firm’s purchase of Beaverton, Oregon-based test & measurement equipment manufacturer Tektronix.
The Danaher Corporation is a global company, with products concentrated in the fields of design, manufacture, and marketing of industrial and consumer products. It manufactures Craftsman tools for Sears.
