Gartner plans to expand in Fort Myers, Florida, creating 200 jobs.
The State of Florida and the Lee County Office of Economic Development will give Gartner $800,00 in tax incentives and $1 million in funds, which will save 346 current employees, and add 200 new jobs over the next five years. Gartner is putting $13.5 million into the expansion.
Stamford, Connecticut’s Gartner, founded in 1979, provides research and analysis on the global information technology industry. It has 4,000 employees in 75 countries worldwide.
