Johns Hopkins to Provide 250 Summer Jobs for Baltimore Youth

The Johns Hopkins Institutions will provide jobs for 250 local youths this summer, as part of Baltimore, Maryland’s YouthWorks summer jobs program.Johns Hopkins has been involved in YouthWorks for years. In 2008, 186 participants were placed in summer jobs at The Johns Hopkins Hospital, and several others worked for the university.
This year, the health system will place 150 youth in summer jobs, and the university will take on 100.
Last year, the citywide program employed 6,500 young people.
