Guaranty Bank Cutting 131 Jobs

Milwaukee, Wisconsin’s Guaranty Bank will shut down its GB Mortgage unit, showing 131 employees the door.

Sixty-two people are being laid off in Milwaukee, with another 69 employees to be cut at smaller offices in 13 states.

Founded in 1924, Guaranty Bank is a full service retail bank. It has over 175 offices, many in grocery stores, in five states including Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, and Georgia.
