Loparex will relocate its company headquarters from Chicago to Cary, North Carolina, creating 60 jobs over the next 42 months.
The firm, which manufactures polycoated and silicone-coated papers and films, will also add 68 jobs in Eden. It is investing $19 million in the relocation and expansion, and is receiving $2.4 million in incentives from the state.
The average wage for the Cary jobs will be $93,000, and $52,000 in Eden.
Loparex LLC currently employs 92 in North Carolina. It is a leading, global manufacturer of polycoated and silicone-coated papers and films, used in a wide variety of pressure sensitive adhesive applications.
