Adolor to Cut 45 Jobs

Drugmaker Adolor will eliminate 45 jobs to cut costs by $12 million.The firm will focus on its constipation drug Entereg, its only approved product, and its late-stage products, and cut early-stage drug development.
Adolor markets Entereg through a partnership with GlaxoSmithKline.
Exton, Pennsylvania’s Adolor Corporation is a biopharmaceutical company specializing in the discovery, development and commercialization of prescription pain management products.
