Sikorsky Aircraft Cuts 2% of Workforce

Stratford, Connecticut’s Sikorsky Aircraft cut its global work force by 2% this week, eliminating an estimated 350 jobs.

The helicopter maker employs 17,500 globally. All divisions were targeted with reductions.

The firm is also implementing three-day unpaid furloughs.

The Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation is an American aircraft manufacturer, founded in 1925 by Russian-American aircraft engineer Igor Sikorsky.
