Swire Shipping Cuts 200 Jobs

Swire Shipping is cutting two global shipping routes and firing 200 staff, or 40% of its workforce.The shipping line is ending the routes due to lower US and European business. The firm will focus on the Asia-Pacific.
The Swire Group is a transnational corporation headquartered in London, UK. It controls a range of wholly owned businesses, including deep-sea shipping, cold storage, road transport, and agricultural activities.
