United Guaranty Cuts 160 Jobs

Greensboro’s United Guaranty is cutting 160 jobs, or 17% of its workforce, primarily in North Carolina.The company employs 500 at its Greensboro headquarters. It has not revealed how many of the cuts will hit there.
Founded in 1963, United Guaranty provides insurance products and services to mortgage lenders. Apart from its Greensboro, North Carolina headquarters, it has offices in Atlanta and Chicago.
