Bucyrus to Eliminate Wisconsin Jobs

Bucyrus International will cut an unspecified number of jobs at its factory and corporate headquarters in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

An undisclosed number of production and administrative positions are being eliminated. Bucyrus has 1,600 employees in the Milwaukee area.

Bucyrus International is a manufacturer of heavy mining equipment. Founded in Bucyrus, Ohio in 1880, its headquarters was moved to its current location in South Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1893.
