Lightyear to Create 150 Kentucky Telecom Jobs

Louisville, Kentucky’s Lightyear Network Solutions is expanding, creating 148 jobs.The firm is considering expanding its wireless service, creating new jobs with an annual payroll of $4.3 million.
The state will give Lightyear $2.8 million in state tax incentives. Lightyear itself will spend $6.3 million.
Lightyear Network Solutions LLC is a telecommunications company that sells long-distance and local telephone services to the commercial and residential sectors. Its products include local and long-distance phone service, voice-over-Internet-protocol services, Internet access, calling cards and multimedia conferencing. It has 80,000 customers in the United States and Puerto Rico.
