Ballard Power to Cut 85 Jobs

Fuel-cell manufacturer Ballard Power Systems will cut 85 jobs, or 20% of its workforce.The layoffs will target the firm’s office in Lowell, Massachusetts, and its Burnaby, British Columbia headquarters.
In April, Ballard cut 39 jobs in finance, IT and HR.
Ballard Power Systems designs, develops, and manufactures zero emission proton-exchange-membrane fuel cells.
