VA to Create Account Center, Create 400 Kansas Jobs

The US Department of Veterans Affairs will establish a patient account center in Leavenworth, Kansas, creating 400 jobs.

The facility, to be installed at the Eisenhower VA Medical Center, which will handle billing, insurance verification, accounts receivable management, and cash management.

The Dwight D. Eisenhower VA Medical Center is part of the VA Eastern Kansas Health Care System, which serves veterans in Eastern Kansas and Northwestern Missouri. There are two main hospitals, one in Topeka and one in Leavenworth, with 10 community based out-patient clinics.
