More Job Cuts for Verizon

Verizonannounced today that it anticipates further reductions over the next few years in response to a sluggish economy and a decline in the home telephone business. These cuts are in addition to the 8,000 layoffs announced earlier this year.Verizon Communications is a US broadband and telecommunications company headquartered in New York City.
