Statistics Canada is scheduled to release its monthly report on Friday morning, but its expected to say that the net number of jobs increased by 5,000 in September, adding on to an employment surge from August. At the same time, unemployment is expected to tick up another decimal. This seeming contradiction may be because people who had given up looking are reentering the job market. As in the US, the official unemployment numbers do not count the long term unemployed who are no longer actively looking for work.
What I liked about the service is that it had such a comprehensive collection of jobs! I was using a number of sites previously and this took up so much time, but in joining EmploymentCrossing, I was able to stop going from site to site and was able to find everything I needed on EmploymentCrossing.
