First American Home Buyers Protection Corporation is opening a new call center in Phoenix, Arizona. The company, which sells home warranties, says the center will bring in 100 jobs right away and as many as 400 over the next two years. First American will start hiring for the jobs at the beginning of January, but the center isn’t expected to open until March 1. Once open, it will handle incoming calls from warranty holders in 35 states.

First American was founded in 1894 as Orange County Title Company after Orange County split off from Los Angeles. The First American Family of Companies operate within five primary business segments, including: Title Insurance and Services, Specialty Insurance, Mortgage Information, Property Information, and Risk Mitigation and Business Solutions.
