Anheuser-Busch Cuts Jobs in Domestic Breweries

Anheuser-Busch Inc, maker of Budweiser, announced today that it is cutting a small number of salaried positions from its domestic breweries. The company did not say how many positions or which breweries would be affected. This is the second set of domestic job cuts in the last year for the beer company. Last year the company was purchased by Anheuser-Busch InBev, who cut about 1400 salaried positions following the take over.The US job cuts follow a week after parent company Anheuser-Busch InBev announced 800 European job cuts. Belgian workers reacted to the news by taking ten managers hostage for 11 hours.
