Tata Technologies Adds 200 Engineering Jobs in Michigan

There was good news on Friday for experienced engineers seeking employment in Michigan.

Tata Technologies Ltd announced that it will hire 200 engineers at its facility in Novi, Michigan by the end of 2010. Tata Technologies provides engineering services, product development information technology services and product management life cycle expertise to global OEMs. Salaries for newly hired engineers at Tata range from $60,000 to $100,000. Major clients of Tata Technologies include Chrysler, Ford, Honda and Boeing.

Tata Technologies is the engineering division of the Tata group conglomerate and sister company of Tata Motors Ltd., which last year launched an ultra low-cost Nano car in India. During the fiscal year of 2008-2009 half of their $262 million in sales came from the U.S. The Singapore based company operates offices in California, Illinois, Ohio and Washington D.C. Regional offices are also located in Pune, India and Luton, U.K.
