CarMax Hiring 600

The CarMax car dealership chain announced today that it plans to hire 600 additional workers for the upcoming spring and summer seasons. A majority of new positions will be full and part time sales jobs but there are some openings in service operations, business offices and the purchasing department. CarMax currently employs 13,000 and the additional jobs will boost their workforce by 5%.CarMax operates 100 stores in locations around the United States and sells primarily used vehicles. Like many businesses, in the past year CarMax has curtailed its store growth but is “committed to resuming its long-term plan of increasing its store base at an annual rate of 15%.”
