Allegiant Air to Hire 60 in Michigan

Allegiant Air will hire 60 new workers to support the opening of a new base of operations at the Gerald R. Ford International Airport in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Allegiant is a low cost airline and subsidiary of Allegiant Travel Company. Additionally the airline will expand its service from Grand Rapids to a sixth destination, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

The company is looking for pilots, ground handlers, customer service agents, flight attendants and aircraft technicians. Expanded operations in Grand Rapids will begin on April 27 when the airline will base two 150 seat jet aircraft at the airport for 34 flights a week.
