Computer Sciences Corp. Cutting 79 Jobs

Computer Sciences Corp., which is a supplier to the U.S. Postal Service, revealed in a state filing that it will shut its Mail Transport Equipment Service Center in Jeffersonville, Ohio when its contract with the USPS ends before July. The result will be 79 job losses.The U.S. Postal Service recently informed Computer Sciences it was downsizing it network of service centers from 23 to 15. Computer Sciences will begin cutting the 79 jobs from the site in May with all the reductions being completed by the end of the contract.
In its last fiscal year, the Postal Service estimated its losses to be at $3 billion.
