Illinois Conducting Job Fairs for Veterans

The Illinois Department of Transportation and other state agencies are holding several job fairs for veterans beginning Monday in Chicago.

Positions being filled are in road maintenance, i.e. snow and ice removal, and are high-paying, the Department of Transportation told the Associated Press. Candidate will need to apply, take a test and have an interview. Applications are available online at www.cms.illinois.gov.

There are additional fairs slates this month for Chicago, Maywood and East St. Louis.
