Kraft Foods Inc. announced it is investing $9 million into its manufacturing plant in Springfield, Mo. that will result in 50 new jobs. Kraft Foods plans to begin two new manufacturing lines, which would put employment above 1,000 people at the plant.
“Kraft Foods has a long history of providing quality employment opportunities to our community,” said John Wanamaker, president of Springfield Business Development Corp. in a press release. “The company’s decision to add jobs and expand its production here, shows its further commitment to the community, and hopefully other manufacturers will recognize the Springfield area as a good place to locate and do business.”
Compensation for the jobs will be above the county average and will include a comprehensive benefits package, according to the release.
What I liked about the service is that it had such a comprehensive collection of jobs! I was using a number of sites previously and this took up so much time, but in joining EmploymentCrossing, I was able to stop going from site to site and was able to find everything I needed on EmploymentCrossing.
