Turbotec Adding 73 Manufacturing Jobs in North Carolina

Turbotec Products announced it’s moving the majority of its manufacturing to Hickory, N.C. and 73 new jobs will be created. The Connecticut-based company produces heat transfer solutions for heating, air conditioning and refrigeration applications.

According to the Charlotte Business Journal, the jobs will pay an average salary of $37,403, which is above the county average of $32,500.

Turbotec currently has 16 employees at a plant in Hickory that fabricates heat exchangers. The new facility is bigger by 100,000 square feet.
