Sprint has announced that it will hire 200 new people to work at its contact center in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. Sprint is holding a hiring event Friday, March 19 from 9am to 3pm at the center. Representatives from the company will meet with prospective employees to discuss the details of the new positions. According to Sprint, new employees will receive competitive salaries and benefits including 401 (k), performance bonuses of up to $3,000 a month, free access to an onsite gym and participation in the employee wireless phone program.

The contact center has been in Rio Rancho for 12 years and is one of the “highest performing” centers in the company. New Mexico Business Weekly named the contact center one of the best places to work in New Mexico in 2007. The employees at the center are also deeply involved in community service and sponsor such events as Dog Day Adoption, work with United Way and support a local public preschool.
