BusinessWeek: The business management software company Lawson Software announced yesterday evening that it plans to cut 150 to 200 jobs from its M3 enterprise management software operation. Cuts will occur in the U.S., Europe and the Philippines. The company has not yet disclosed the number of U.S. jobs that will be lost nor has it projected the savings such cuts will generate. Lawson estimates that the cuts will represent approximately five percent of its work force.
Lawson Software is an international software company with over 4,000 customers in manufacturing, maintenance, distribution and services industries such as health care, financial services, retail and the public sector.
