Saab Training Expanding, Adding Jobs in Orlando

Saab Training USA, a subsidiary of Sweden-based Saab AB, is adding 33 jobs over the next three years at its operations in Orlando, Fla.Saab currently employs about 36 people at Central Florida Research Park near the University of Central Florida, the Orlando Business Journal reports. As part of the plan, the company will commence a $230,000 expansion at the facility, which currently sits at 28,000 square feet.
According to the story, the company received incentives for the expansion from the Metro Orlando Economic Development Commission. Saab AB provides products to the U.S. military and homeland security, which includes targets and laser simulators.
