The clean-up effort in the Gulf of Mexico is likely to be a herculean task and the state of Florida is getting a head start with postings for 3,500 jobs on state sponsored website www.floridagulfrecoveryjobs.com.
“Immediate access to recovery-related job openings,” said Florida Governor Charlie Christ, “provides Floridians the opportunity to help our state while supporting their families and communities.”
As of Today, 302 of the jobs have already been filled and 2400 people have received the requisite training to begin filling the positions.
