Unisys To Bring Tech Center To St. Louis

More good jobs news from Missouri governor, Jay Nixon, says Bloomberg. Unisys Corp. has plans to open a new technology center in downtown St. Louis. The center would be home to some 300 new high-tech jobs. The governor made the announcement yesterday with St. Louis mayor, Francis Slay.

Unisys will develop applications for Apple products, such as the iPhone and iPad, at the center.

The Pennsylvania company’s decision to come to St. Louis was based a large part on a $4.5 million tax incentive as well as funds for training and recruitment, all part of governor and legislative efforts to entice big business to the Show Me State.
