NetSuite Inc. is planning to hire 150 additional workers at its base in San Mateo, Calif., the San Francisco Business Times reports.
NetSuite Inc., which provides cloud computing solutions, said it is actively recruiting employees to fill nearly all functional areas, including sales, customer service and support, and engineering and development. The catalyst for the additional hires is increased market demand for its cloud business software applications.
“NetSuite’s total commitment to the cloud, and our unique position as the industry’s leading provider of cloud-based financial and ERP software suites, certainly are important factors in the gains we are making against traditional providers of pre-Internet architected applications,” Zach Nelson, NetSuite’s CEO, said in a statement.
NetSuite said it expects to increase its development group by about 30 percent. The firm currently has 1,000 employees.
