To Prevent Motion Sickness on a Plane

Motion sickness can make it hard for people who suffer from it to travel. Motion sickness can happen on a plane, train, boat, bus or in a car. A person who is not feeling well can get motion sickness or someone who has an inner ear problem can get motion sickness.

Motion sickness can make someone dizzy and nauseous and once the symptoms start there isn't much you can do about it but stop moving. Here are some tips to help prevent motion sickness.

Unfortunately for some, flying can be a horrible and nauseating experience. Motion sickness on a plane is often miserable. An airplane can make a person motion sick. Try to choose a seat over the wing of the airplane. The wing is the most stable part of the airplane. A window seat that is above the wing is probably the most stable part of the airplane. Try to look out of the window into the distance if you can.

Get a motion sickness bracelet. Follow the directions given with these and you'll find that it helps to alleviate motion sickness as well as prevent it.

Sleep. When you are on a plane, try to fall asleep. This will not only make it so that you don't feel sick when you are on a plane, but it will also keep you from getting sick on the plane. If you can fall asleep, go ahead and do so. It will definitely help.

Avoid eating a heavy meal. Don't eat at all if you can but if you find you need to eat then just eat a small amount. Try to stay away from odors. The smell of some foods can trigger motion sickness. Do not drink alcohol if you may be traveling.

You can try some over the counter remedies for motion sickness like Dramamine. Ginger is a natural remedy for motion sickness. If you are going on a cruise you may want to make sure you have some motion sickness medication with you.

Do What You Want to Do, Not What You Think You Should Do
I know two men who worked in New York City, each of whom made millions of dollars and immediately quit their jobs, taking up completely different careers as gas station owners in New Jersey. I learned about one of these men when I was in college, and I heard about the other man several years later, when I was a recruiter. For the past several years, I have puzzled over the stories of these t...
